Fuel business management system

2024 — 2025

Product designer in a cross-functional team

Designed a portal for owners, managers, and admins of gas station networks—consolidating merchandise, analytics, and operations into one system

Goal

Unify key B2B gas-station workflows in one CRM

To simplify operations, promotions, and administration

Problem

At the start there was no single, stable logic for core processes

Requirements kept shifting as the product rolled out in production

Result

Shipped the CRM in a live network, then scaled to additional networks

Iterated flows and UI from user feedback

01

Merchandise management module

Task

Bring assortment, pricing, suppliers, and warehouses for different station formats into one module so teams could run merchandising without fragmented tools and manual workarounds

What I did

Structured the module for different network formats and use cases: assortment matrices, pricing, suppliers, and stock

Designed editable tables for key operations—receipts, repricing, balances—so changes are fast and context stays visible

Detailed hot food and modifiers: modifier choices drive ingredient write-offs and final price

Outcome

Teams got a clearer, controllable merchandising flow in one interface

The system better reflects real station operations, including complex modifier combinations

Less reliance on manual calculations; more predictable stock and pricing

02

Promotions and discounts module

Task

Build a promo builder from scratch without a full spec: define use cases, formalize promo rules, and ship a tool business and ops teams could actually use

What I did

Started from competitor scans and hypotheses for core flows to lock a minimal, extensible foundation

Designed simple and complex mechanics: thresholds, AND/OR logic, and combinations that match real promo rules

Added templates for common promos (e.g. “2 for 1”) to launch campaigns faster without rebuilding rules each time

Integrated the module into the design system for UI consistency and easier evolution

Outcome

A shippable promo tool that covers both basic and advanced configuration

Promo launches became more systematic and predictable

Design-system integration reduced UI fragmentation and eased scaling
